What if nourishment could feel like an adventure - one that leaves you grounded, inspired and alive?
Meet Mel
When I think about it, I’ve always been a food lover. Food has been at the heart of so many of my most treasured moments. I think back to my childhood and can still feel the emotions connected to the dishes my caregivers used to make - the creamy porridge my grandpa made that felt like a warm hug in the morning, the family banquets my nanna effortlessly created with food from the farm that brought everyone together, and the fish and pineapple dish my mum insisted on serving regularly in the 70s (not necessarily one I’m keen to recreate, haha).
That sense of warmth, connection, and curiosity around food has never left me. It’s what inspired The Passionate Nutritionist - a space where food, connection, and exploration come together to help people feel their best, inside and out.
Whether we’re sharing long-table meals in beautiful locations, exploring practical ways to boost energy at work, or creating space to reconnect with your body’s needs, my goal is the same: to make nutrition feel joyful, relatable, and far less confusing. In a world full of mixed messages about what we should or shouldn’t eat, I believe in bringing things back to balance, real food, and what feels right for you.
Grounded in evidence but guided by curiosity, my approach blends science, soul, and a sense of adventure - helping you find balance that lasts far beyond the plate.
I hold degrees in both Nutrition and Exercise Science, which means my approach is as evidence-based as it is experience-led - a blend of knowledge, compassion, and a genuine love for helping people feel well in their own skin.
